Women's Golf Central: Bermuda Run Regional

BERMUDA RUN, N.C. – Tennessee women’s golf will participate in its 30th NCAA Regional on Monday, competing as the No. 7 seed in the Bermuda Run Regional.

The three-day tournament will feature 54 holes, with the top five team scores advancing to the NCAA Championship at Carlsbad, California from May 17-22. Six individuals from non-advancing teams will also compete at the NCAA Championship.

The Lady Vols will be competing for the first time since the SEC Championship, where they finished ninth, missing the quarterfinal cut by two strokes to LSU. After a slow round one, they posted the best team score of the final two rounds. To advance, the Lady Vols are looking for their first top-five regional finish since 2015-16.

Manassanan Chotikabhukkana

In only her sophomore season, Chotikabhukkana broke the single-season par round record at Tennessee with her 18th at SECs. She now owns two of the top three highest figures in school history, and her 72.06 round average will also be a Tennessee best if it holds.

Kayla Holden

Holden has added four top-10 finishes to her résumé this season, three of which have occurred in the spring. In her last SEC Championship, the senior tied for 35th with a score of 8-over (218).

Bailey Davis

The Maryland native recorded her 10th round of par or better in round two at SECs, a 1-under (69) capped by a birdie on the 18th hole. She now has 23 par rounds in her three-year collegiate career, tied for the 12th most in school history.

Angela Arora

Arora’s par round in the final round of the conference championship was her fifth of the season and eighth of her young collegiate career. She tied for 35th at last year’s NCAA Regionals with a score of 4-over (220).

Vanessa Gilly

After missing the SEC Championship with an injury, Gilly returns to the lineup for her final NCAA Regional. She excelled in the Westfield regional last season, tying for ninth place with a score of 5-under (211).
