Bryan, Texas – Clemson women’s golf turned in the best round of the day to move up two spots and sit in second place following the second round of the Bryan Regional. The top-five teams after 54 holes of stroke play advance to the National Championship Tournament in Carlsbad, Calif., May 17-22.

The Tigers shot a -7 (281) on the day to sit at -4, two shots out of first place. Clemson had two players turn in bogey-free rounds on Tuesday, matching the total of bogey free rounds this season prior to Tuesday. Clemson turned in 13 birdies on the back nine to take the lead at the turn.

Following the Tigers’ start on No.10, she carded four birdies on the back nine and finished the front nine with back-to-back birdies to move into second-place in the individual competition at -7.
