Women's Golf Set for National Golf Invitational Championship

MARICOPA, Ariz. – Rutgers women’s golf is out west and ready to compete in the first postseason event in program history this weekend at the National Golf Invitational Championship at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.

The Scarlet Knights are coming off a best-ever finish at Big Ten Championships, tying for 11th place out of 14 teams last month at Bulle Rock Golf Course.

Leigha Devine finished strong at her last conference championships, securing her second straight top-10 finish at the event.

This spring, Rutgers also secured a team title at the Rutgers Invitational, while Rikke Nordvik won the individual title at the event for her second career win.

The Scarlet Knights have set numerous records both as a team and individually this season and will look to cap off a historic season on a high note in Arizona.
