It is the second-straight year that Sargent has been named a finalist for the Haskins Award. The junior is currently ranked No. 2 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and seventh in the CLIPPD rankings. He has posted five top-five finishes during the 2023-24 season and holds a scoring average of 69.93 through 10 collegiate tournaments.

The 2022 NCAA national champion has carded under par in a team-best 19 rounds this season. He was named SEC Golfer of the Week back on April 10. Voting for the Haskins Award will open on Friday as well. As a reminder, all active D1 players, coaches, golf SIDs, past Haskins winners, and college golf media are eligible to vote. Voting will end on Monday, May 27th at the conclusion of the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship.
