Three Blue Devils Set for Action this Week Across the World


DURHAM – Three different Duke women’s golfers are set to compete across the world this week as they continue their summer action.  Competing this week will be rising junior Andie Smith along with incoming freshmen Carla De Troia and Martina Yu.
 
French Individual Championship Next for De Troia
Duke incoming freshman Carla De Troia is set to compete in the France Women’s Championship June 12-16 at the Golf Club de Lyon in France.  A field of 72 golfers will see action in the championship.

Yu to Compete in Glencoe Invitational
Martina Yu, a product of Canada, will tee off June 13-15 at the 2024 Peloton Glencoe Invitational, which will take place at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 
 
A field of 100 golfers will compete over 54 holes of action with male and female divisions, including professional and amateur divisions.

Smith Set for Home State Event
Blue Devil rising junior Andie Smith will see action in the 95th Women’s Amateur Championship, which takes place June 13-16 at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla. 
 
A field of 84 golfers will play 36 holes of stroke play followed by match play.  The top 32 golfers following qualifying advance to match play.  All golfers must be Florida residents. 
 
Smith opens play at 7:57 a.m., on June 13 off hole No. 1.
