CORAL SPRING, Fla. (July 2, 2024) – Washington State women’s golf junior Sarah Skovgaard-Bils was recognized for her academic excellence by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Tuesday morning, being named a WGCA All-American Scholar.
Skovgaard-Bils had a strong junior season, finishing the year with her best tournament at the Pac-12 Championships with a 4-over, 220 to finish tied for 32nd. She also had a season-low round at the Pac-12 Championships, shooting a 1-under, 71 in round two.
The Virum, Denmark native played in 10 tournaments for the Cougs, finishing with a scoring average of 76.11 over 29 rounds played and had her score count in 21 of them. Skovgaard-Bils shot a 6-over, 222 to finish tied for 29th at the Fresno State Classic and tied for 51st at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate at 7-over, 223.
