Detry, currently 30th in the FedEx Cup standings and 52nd in the Official World Golf Rankings, is back in action for the first time in two weeks. Since his T4 finish at the PGA Championship in May, he has made five straight cuts, including a T14 at the U.S. Open last month.

Dumont de Chassart was back in Illinois for last week’s John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., where he posted a T46 finish with his fourth made cut in his last five PGA TOUR events.

On the PGA TOUR Champions, Illini great Steve Stricker returns to Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, to defend his title at the Kaulig Companies Championship, one of his 17-career wins on the tour.  Stricker also won the event in 2020, then known as the Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.
