Women's Golf Receives WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women’s golf was recognized for its outstanding work in the classroom with the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award, announced on Tuesday.

The honor recognizes the Scarlet Knights for having the fourth-highest GPA in the country and the highest GPA in the Big Ten, with the team posting a 3.900 GPA in 2023-24.

RU has been recognized on the WGCA’s top-25 rankings seven times in the last eight seasons, finishing as high as No. 3 in the country in 2018.

Rutgers continues to stand out as one of the elite academic programs in the country, with all seven members of the team being named WGCA Division I All-American Scholars earlier this month. Additionally, Leigha Devine and Lucrezia Rossettin were both named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars.
