Ingram, Bartholomew to Compete in U.S. Senior Women’s Open


DURHAM, N.C. – A pair of Duke women’s golf alumnae – Jean Bartholomew and Sarah LeBrun Ingram — will compete in the United States Golf Association (USGA) U.S. Senior Women’s Open August 1-4 at the Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 
 
A field of 120 competitors will see action over four days, while playing 18 holes each day.  The low 50 scorers and ties will advance to the third round. 
 
A 1988 Duke graduate, Ingram was a two-time All-American with the Blue Devils in 1987 and 1988.  She is a three-time U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Champion, three-time Curtis Cup team member and two-time gold medal winning captain for the U.S. Curtis Cup.  Bartholomew, a 1989 Blue Devil graduate, played on the LPGA Tour from 1996-2007, while also spending time on the Ladies European Tour, Japan LPGA and Asian Tour. 
 
Bartholomew will open things with a 7:52 a.m., tee time off hole No. 1, while Ingram tees off at 7:59 a.m., on No. 9. 
 
Fans will be able to watch the action on Saturday and Sunday live on Peacock from 2-5 p.m.
