After completing one of the top campaigns in school history, University of Missouri men’s golf standout Jack Lundin has wasted no time translating his success to the next level.
Making his professional debut on the Dakotas Tour this summer, Lundin earned back-to-back titles to start his career. He won individual medalist honors at Moccasin Creek, carding an 18-under (64-65-69) to win by one stroke. He then followed up with a 23-under (67-64-62) at the Cattail Crossing ProAm for another one-stroke victory. Add in a second-place finish at Hillcrest and Lundin currently ranks first on the Dakotas Tour Points Leaderboard with 1,425 points – more than 200 ahead of second place.
Taking it one step further, Lundin qualified for his first Korn Ferry Tour event this week and is set to participate in the Pinnacle Bank Championship in Omaha, Nebraska. The action tees off on Thursday with Lundin set for a 3:22 tee time.
“My career has gotten off to a very quick start and in all honesty, it’s been pretty hectic,” Lundin said. “Although I just turned pro a month ago, I have enjoyed this journey and look forward to it as I go along with it.”
Lundin is coming off one of the top seasons in Mizzou golf history in 2023-24. A second-team PING All-American and first-team All-SEC honoree, he finished as the nation’s No. 22 ranked golfer. He won two individual titles as a senior with seven top-five finishes, posting a 69.69 overall stroke average.
“Being at Mizzou and competing for three years there with my teammates and with my coaches, helped me to be a better person and competitor. Also, with the Mizzou facilities, it helped me to enjoy practice and get better every day.”
