Melgrati Tied For Lead, Wildcats Tied For Third as a Team at Mason Rudolph Championship


The Arizona Wildcats remained tied for third place after round two of the Mason Rudolph Championship in Tennessee. The team finished the day 4-under par (284) for a total of 15-under through two rounds. Carolina Melgrati shot a 67 (-5) in her second round, which brings her to 9-under for the tournament and tied for the individual lead.
 
The Wildcats are six shots behind the leaders Texas and two back of second place Georgia Southern.

Melgrati carded a bogey-free 66 to push herself to the top of the leader board. She got off to a hot start with five birdies on the front nine and finished with a birdie on the final hole of the day.

Charlotte Back shot 3-under in her second round and moved 29 spots up the leaderboard. She is 3-under for the tournament and is tied for 18th. The highlight of her round came on the second hole where she holed out for eagle on the par 4.

Wongthanavimok shot a 74 in her second round and is tied for 12th and only five back of the lead.

 

Junior Julia Misemer shot 2-over and is tied for 52nd. Senior Lilas Pinthier shot a 78 and is tied for 68th after day two.
