Lucrezia Rossettin leads the Scarlet Knights on the individual leaderboard in a tie for eighth place heading into Tuesday’s final round.
Rounds 1 & 2 – Monday, September 30th
Weather: Sunny, Temps in low 60s, 5-10 mph winds
Rossettin opened her day with an even-par 72 in the first round, rolling in five birdies to highlight her round. In her second round, she posted another 72 and three more birdies, including a pair on the back nine to shoot a 1-under 35 in her final nine on the day.
Freshman Joline Truong posted a 4-over 76 in her first round with a pair of birdies on the back nine. She birdies holes No. 1 and 2 in the second round en route to a 5-over 77 and is in a tie for 35th.
Emily James and and Krystal Li are in a tie for 46th after each shooting a 12-over 156 on the day.
Grace Lu shot a 9-over 81 in her first round, improving in round two with a 7-over 79 and is in a tie for 58th.
Competing as an individual, Judy Amano posted her low round for RU with a 2-over 74 in the first round, carding birdies on No. 8 and No. 12. She added three more birdies i her second round and is in a tie for 23rd.
