No. 23 Gamecocks Set for Fall Finale at Fallen Oak – University of South Carolina Athletics

South Carolina will seek to keep it’s top-three finish streak alive in strong field with five top-25 teams

SAUCIER, Miss. – No. 23 South Carolina is primed for its fall finale this weekend as the team is set to compete at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 19-21). The annual tournament, which is hosted by Southern Miss, Mississippi State and Ole Miss, will be played at Fallen Oak, one of the state’s top courses that is owned and operated by Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi.

The Tom Fazio design is an 18 hole, par-72 championship layout that sits on 510 acres of pristine land.

Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.

The Gamecocks will be one of five top-25 teams in the field this week and are one of four who hail from the SEC. No. 2 Ole Miss and No. 5 LSU are the highest ranked top-25 programs playing in the event.

It’ll be the same starting five for the Gamecocks led by redshirt junior Frankie Harris in the top spot. He’s joined again by sophomore transfer Brock Blais, senior All-American Nathan Franks, junior Zach Adams and freshman Marek Fleming. Redshirt freshman Ismael Encinas will compete as an individual again.

Carolina will look to finish its fall on a high note, posting a 37-5-1 record so far thanks to top-three finishes in each of the team’s first three events.
