Women’s Golf Adds Two to Roster on National Signing Day

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State women’s golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll announced today (Nov. 14) the signing of two incoming student-athletes to the Spartans’ 2025-26 roster.

Joining the Spartans on campus in the fall of 2025 will be Sarisa “Memee” Pojanalai and Lucia Valderrama.

Sarisa “Memee” Pojanalai – Bangkok, Thailand / American School of Bangkok

Member of the Thailand National Team … Finished in fifth place at the Bangchak Champions Cup … Runner-up at the 2024 TGA-SINGHA-KRUNGTHAI Junior Golf Ranking … Runner-up at the 2024 TKG STCC International.

Slobodnik-Stoll on Pojanalai…

“Memee is a very talented and wonderful young woman. We are looking forward to her wearing the Green & White next fall.  She is a part of the Thailand National Team, which gives her great experience competitively and training wise.” 

Lucia Valderrama – Valencia, Spain / Blume Elite School

Member of the Spanish National Team … Runner-up at the 2024 Copa de la Communidad Valenciana (Valencian Cup) … Placed 12th at the 2023 European Young Masters … The runner-up at the 2023 Spanish National Championships U16.

Slobodnik-Stoll on Valderrama…

“We’re very excited to have Lucia as part of our program and continue our Spanish connection.  She will join fellow Spaniard Paula Balanzategui. Both young women compete with the Spanish National Team, which has had great success over the years.  Lucia will be a welcome addition as she will help us continue our tradition of excellence that we have had for more than 25 years.”
