Tournament Recap:
UW (+41, 7th of 11 teams)
“The team really battled through adversity today,” said Head Coach Mary Lou Mulflur. “With Viv unable to compete in round two and round three, we really had our backs against the wall. I thought the team responded to some adversity really well. They showed a lot of fight and determination which will pay off down the road for us.”
The Huskies will next play in back-to-back California tournaments, first in Palm Desert, Calif. at the Alice & John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic Feb. 15-17. A few weeks later, Washington will compete in the two-day Juli Inkster Invitational at Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif. from March 3-4.
