Hill Tied for 12th After Two Rounds at Puerto Rico Classic

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – Tennessee men’s golfer Josh Hill is tied for 12th after two rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic.
 
Hill posted a 2-under 70 in round two and enters the final round at 6-under overall. Additionally, the junior is eyeing consecutive top-15 finishes.
 
As a team, Tennessee shot 3-under on Tuesday and is in eighth place at 9-under overall heading into day three.  
 
Redshirt junior Lance Simpson is inside the top 25 at 3-under through two rounds. The Knoxville native fired a 1-under 71 to provide the Vols with their second-best 18-hole score on Tuesday.
 
Competing individually, Kai Komulainen shot an even-par 72 on day two and is one shot outside the top 25 at 2-under overall.
 
Freshman Jackson Herrington also shot even-par in the second round and is tied for 32nd at 1-under through 36 holes.
 
Bruce Murphy and Evan Woosley-Reed both posted a pair of 72s in round two and are tied for 45th.
