Women's Golf Central: Moon Golf Invitational

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Tennessee women’s golf team is set to tee off the spring season Sunday at the Moon Golf Invitational, hosted by Louisville.

The Lady Vols will make their way to the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Florida. This private club is entirely member-owned and features 36 holes of championship-level courses.

The tournament is set to tee off with 18 holes on Sunday, followed by 18 holes apieve on Monday and Tuesday.

The event will be played on the Challenge Course — one of Suntree’s two historic courses and designed by the world-renowned golf pioneer Arnold Palmer.

The tournament consists of 17 teams total. Tennessee is anticipated to face a number of seven SEC opponents, as well as non-conference opponents alike.

The Lady Vols wrapped up the fall slate in a tournament of their own hosting — the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship. Tennessee tied for second as a team, including a final-round score of 1-under.

As a team, Tennessee concluded the fall with three top-five team finishes as Bailey Davis put up three top-10 individual finishes.
