DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. — The Tennessee women’s golf team is set to tee off in its second event of the spring season Monday at the Daniel Island Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston.
The event is set to be played at the par-72, 6,026 Daniel Island Club.
The tournament is set to tee off with 36 holes of play Monday, followed by an 18-hole round on Tuesday.
Senior Bailey Davis enters the Daniel Island Invitational with a team-leading 71.93 season stroke average as well as three top 10 finishes as junior Manassanan Chotikabhukkana holds a pair of top-10 showings of her own this season.
THE LINEUP
Bailey Davis
Throughout Tennessee’s five tournaments, Davis has been the team’s highest finisher in four instances. Additionally, the White Plains, Maryland, native has carded six rounds of par or lower throughout the season, including a 64 during the second round at the 2024 Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational
Manassanan Chotikabhukkana
Chotikabhukkana has finished inside the top 15 three times this season and currently holds a 73.27 season-scoring average while shooting five rounds of par or lower.
Kyra Van Kan
The freshman has appeared in the lineup in each tournament for the Lady Vols and has notched three top-25 showings along with a 72.93 scoring average.
Sofie Engeseth
Engeseth makes her way back into the lineup after closing the fall with a top-five finish at the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship where she shot even-par.
Isabella Johnson
The spring newcomer, Isabella Johnson, is set to make her second consecutive collegiate start this week.
