Cal finished strong at the Bruin Wave Invitational in late February, moving up two spots in the final round to place fifth. Sophomore Constance Fouillet (221, +5) earned her second top-10 individual finish of the year, while senior Jieming Yang’s ended the tournament with her best round at 1-under-par 71 to finish in 23rd place.

For the second straight season, the Bears had their best showing of the year at the Molly Invitational on Oct. 1, led by Fouillet’s (-5) third-place individual finish. They ended the fall by placing fifth at the Nanea Invitational on Oct. 30.

Cal recorded its lowest-ever team scoring average (291.1) in 2023-24, with Fouillet (72.7) coming in at No. 2 all time and setting a new freshman scoring record. This season, Fouillet is averaging 73 strokes per round to lead the team, followed by Adora Liu (73.1) and Kaylyn Noh (73.7).

Noh’s six par or better rounds are tied with Fouillet for the team lead. Her 5-under par 66 in the opening round of the Therese Hession Regional Challenge made her the first Bear in program history to record three separate rounds at 5-under or better.
