David Stanford records runner-up finish at Next Man Up Individual

RALEIGH, N.C. –David Stanford, a senior on the Virginia Tech men’s golf team, carded a 1-under 143 (71-72) to place second at the Next Man Up Individual, which concluded Sunday at Lonnie Poole Golf Course (par 72, 6,986 yards).
In addition to Stanford, Rahul Rajendran (tied for ninth), Holland Giles (12th) and Ryan Slonaker (15th) also competed at the individual event. Rajendran carded a second-round, 2-under 70 to slide into the top 10.
NC State’s Cade McLaughlin topped the leaderboard with a 4-under 140 (72-68).
