WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men’s golf team looks to continue its red-hot spring season at the small, but mighty Calusa Cup at Calusa Pines Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The Boilermakers have won their last two events of the spring, but three straight will be difficult against a field that boasts four of the top-12 teams in the country. Purdue has never won three straight tournaments in school history and a win would be the fourth of the year for the Boilermakers, which would tie for the second most in school history in a year.

Just nine teams are in the field, but are headlined by four top-12 teams (LSU, Virginia, UCLA and Florida) and three more in the top 50 (Louisville, Purdue, Wake Forest).

Action begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday, with the nine teams playing 18 holes each day.
