Women’s golf moves four spots into sixth place after finishing 2-over par in round two. After shooting the third best round out of the 15 team field, the Wildcats are 14-shots behind USC leading at even par. Lilas Pinthier had the round of the day for the Cats shooting a 70.
Pinthier shot 3-under in her first nine holes (back nine start), which included a hole in one on the par three 17th. She has the second best par three scoring average amongst the field and is tied for 11th on the player leaderboard. Carolina Melgrati had a strong even par round today after not having the round she had hoped for on day one. Charlotte Back shot 3-over par but finished off her round on a positive note with back to back birdies. Melgrati and Back are both tied for 34th.
Nena Wongthanavimok and Julia Misemer both carded 74s and are both 6-over par after 36 holes. Julia Misemer was able to cap off her round with an eagle on the 18th hole.
