RICHMOND HILL, Ga. — Wisconsin rounded out the regular season with a ninth-place finish at The Ford Collegiate, challenging some of the nation’s best teams. Freshman Charlie Erlandson led the Badgers taking 11th-place overall.
As a team, UW shot a combined 291-295-278=864 in the tournament, scoring a 24-over par. They finished in 9th place out of 12 teams.
Erlandson boasted an impressive final round, including 3 birdies, and a 2-under par score. The freshman led the Badgers throughout the tournament, carding a 73-70-68=211 and placing tied in 11th place at 1-over par.
Jacob Beckman climbed 14 spots on the leaderboard in the final round, finishing in a tie for 19th. With an even-par Round 1 and 3, Beckman carded 70-74-70=214, scoring 4-over par for the tournament.
Both Badgers placed ahead of several top-50 golfers overall.
No. 2 Texas took first place at 2-under par, followed by an even-par No. 7 LSU in second, and No. 1 Auburn in third at 4-over par.
