PULLMAN, Wash. (April 24, 2025) – The Washington State men’s golf team returns to Northern California for the third-straight event as it prepares for the 2025 West Coast Conference Championships, April 25-27, at the Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif.
The Course and Tournament Format
The 2025 WCC Men’s Golf Championships will be held at the 6,450-yard, par-72 Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif. Each school will have five players competing per round, with the four best scores counting to the team score. Each team will also have an extra player that can be substituted in prior to each round.
Teams will play 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes Saturday. The top four teams after 54 holes will advance to Match Play on Sunday. The Cougars begin their tee times at 7:30 a.m. Friday, playing alongside Oregon State.
2025 West Coast Conference Championships
The 2025 West Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championship is set to tee off Friday at the par-72 6,450-yard course at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, California. The three-day championship includes three rounds of stroke play, with four teams advancing to match play. The 10-team field will begin play Friday with two rounds of stroke play. A third round of stroke play is set for Saturday. Following the first three rounds of stroke play, the West Coast Conference will crown an individual champion. The field will be cut to four teams that will advance to match play. The semifinals of match play will be Sunday morning, with the two advancing teams meeting in the match play finals Sunday afternoon.
Pepperdine has captured the West Coast Conference Championship 22 times, while San Francisco has the second-most conference titles with 11. San Diego won last season’s West Coast Conference team championship, held at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington.
