ORLANDO, Fla. – Senior All-American Louise Rydqvist and standout freshman Eila Galitsky were named to Team International for the 2025 edition of the Arnold Palmer Cup as the teams were announced live on Golf Channel Tuesday night. Rydqvist, a native pf Värnamo, Sweden, will be making her second consecutive appearance on the squad while Galitsky, a native of Chaing Mai, Thailand, will be making her Palmer Cup debut.

Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. is set to host the event this summer June 5-7 in what will be the second time the Palmetto State has hosted the prestigious, Ryder Cup-style team event. Thirty-two different universities will be represented on Team USA and Team International. South Carolina is one of 10 schools with multiple selections.

Head coach Kalen Anderson was tabbed Co-Head Coach for Team USA alongside Auburn’s Nick Clinard back in December. Anderson is the first Gamecock coach on the men’s or women’s side to earn the coveted honor for one of amateur golf’s premier events.

Rydqvist and Galitsky both recently helped lead the Gamecocks to the program’s first SEC Championship since 2002. The duo finished in the top-10 in stroke play and both went 3-0 in their matches help the Gamecocks hoist the trophy for the second time in program history. South Carolina continues its postseason march next week as the No. 1 seed at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional (May 5-7).

Rydqvist (No. 8) and Galitksy (No. 17) are each ranked inside the top-20 of the latest World Amateur Golf Rankings.
