Arizona Women’s Golf’s journey to the NCAA Championships starts this Sunday, as the Cats make the trip to Texas to compete at the The Rawls Course for the NCAA Lubbock Regional (May 4-7). Due to inclement weather expected on Monday, the opening round has been moved up to Sunday afternoon (May 4).
The top five teams and the low individual (not on an advancing team) from each regional site will advance to play in the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California (May 16-21).

Heading Into The Tournament
Coming into regionals the Wildcats are hot off a win at the Big 12 Championship. They look to continue the success story in head coach Giovana Maymon‘s first season that already saw three wins. Maymon received the award for Big 12 Coach of the Year this past week. Along with the partnership of Charlotte Back and Carolina Melgrati who have been a steady force for the Cats all season earning All-Big 12 Honors.
