BREMERTON, Wash. (May 11, 2025) – Washington State junior Sam Renner will participate in his first NCAA postseason event when he competes as an individual at the 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Bremerton Regional, May 12-14, in Bremerton, Wash.
Renner is enjoying a record-break season in 2024-25. The Bend, Ore. native currently holds a 70.45 season scoring average, which ranks No. 1 all-time at WSU by more than half a stroke. In the fall, he posted back-to-back tournament victories, the first time in program history a player has captured back-to-back medalist honors, at the Badger Invitational and Oregon State Invitational, respectively. He ended his fall campaign with nine-straight rounds under par and a 69.53 scoring average in five tournaments.
Additionally, Renner has shot par-or-better in 24 of his 33 rounds, including 14 rounds in the 60’s, while posting five Top-10 and eight Top-25 finishes entering the NCAA Championships. In the most recent national rankings, Renner sits at No. 108.
Tournament Information
The 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional, hosted by the University of Washington, will be held May 12-14 at the Gold Mountain Golf Club. The 54-hole event, 18 holes each day, will be played on the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain GC. The course is setup as a par-72, measuring at 7,167 yards for rounds 1 and 3, and 7,114 yards for round 2.
The 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional features 13 teams and 10 individuals hoping to advance to the 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships. The top five teams and the top individual not on an advancing team will advance from each regional to the national championship, May 23-28, at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Texas is the host institution for the 2025 championships.
Renner, one of five individuals playing in the regional, will tee off at 10:34 Monday morning.

Teams that will be competing at the 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional, seeded in order, include Arizona State, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, South Florida, Colorado, Charlotte, Kansas, Colorado State, Kansas State, Elon, Coastal Carolina, Oral Roberts and Seattle U.
The five individuals playing in the NCAA Bremerton Regional, also in seeded order, include Renner, Lukas Boandl (Rice), Mason Snyder and Cade Anderson (Loyola Marymount), Cade Anderson (Loyola Marymount) and Daniel Zou (Rice).
