Tennessee rowers Meg Flanagan, Riley Ferdelman, Paige Reymann and Hannah Richardson were recognized for their efforts on the water and in the classroom.
Lady Vol golfer Sofie Engeseth was honored for her effort on and off the course.
The minimum criteria for at-large program sports include rowers having attained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and competed in 90 percent of the team’s total regatta’s. For golf, those student-athletes Golf nominees also must have achieved at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, along with participating in 70 percent of the team’s total varsity events that were team scoring events.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 16 (women) and July 17 (men).
Engeseth, a Tennessee women’s golf sophomore this past season, registered a pair of top-10 finishes . The Oslo, Norway, native’s best showing of the season came at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate where she tied for fourth place after shooting even-par overall. Engeseth was in the UT lineup for the fourth-place NCAA Regionals finish and 13th-place NCAA Championships finish.
Flanagan, a junior for the Lady Vol rowing team in 2024-25, was a key member of UT’s first varsity eight crew and a 2024 CRCA First Team All-American. In that boat, Flanagan aided Tennessee to a fourth-place finish in the NCAA Championship first varsity eight grand final, crossing in 6:10.912. Additionally, Flanagan and the rest of the 1V8 boat earned a silver medal at the inaugural; SEC Championship. In addition to her accomplishments on the water, Flanagan was recognized for her efforts in the community as she was tabbed to the 2025 SEC Rowing Community Service Team.
Junior Ferdelman, who has now earned consecutive CSC Academic All-District honors, was also a First Team CRCA All-American who was apart of UT’s first varsity eight boat. Along with Flanagan, Ferdelman was also a key part in the fourth-place NCAA Championships finish and silver medal finish at the SEC Championship.
