Temple Inks Transfer Claudia Alnajim For 2025-26 Season

SEATTLE – Newly appointed Husky women’s golf head coach Anna Temple has announced that the Dawgs will welcome senior transfer Claudia Alnajim in the fall of 2025.

Alnajim completes a Husky roster that returns sophomores Amber Li, Athena Ni, and Wendy Tang, junior Mads Smith, and senior Carmen Lim for the 2025-26 season.

“I’m excited for Claudia to be joining our squad this fall,” Temple said. “She brings with her three years of competitive collegiate experience, and I am confident that she will add to our program both on and off the course.”

She comes to Washington after her junior season at Texas Tech and her first two collegiate years spent at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas.

In Lubbock, she played two tournaments for the Red Raiders. She was part of a Texas Tech squad that won the Red Raider Invitational in fall 2024, as the team posted a tournament low -8 as just one of two teams to finish under-par during the three-round invite.

The Casares Malaga, Spain native was named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic First Team (4.0 GPA) her sophomore campaign in 2023-24 at Odessa.

As a Wrangler in her second season, Alnajim posted five Top-10 finishes in her six fall events. Her sophomore season was highlighted in the spring when she tied for a top-finish at the Paul Chavez Invitational.

Alnajim finished in the Top-10 of seven of 10 tournaments she played her freshman year at Odessa, including two wins.

A Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) All-Academic First-Team selection her freshman year, Alnajim posted a season-low three-under-par 69.
