Troon chosen to manage The Club at Crested Butte in Colorado

Troon has been selected to manage The Club at Crested Butte in Colorado, expanding its footprint in the Rocky Mountain region. Through its Troon Privé division, the company will oversee all aspects of club operations — including golf, agronomy, food and beverage, ski services and membership marketing — with a focus on elevating service consistency and enhancing member engagement.

The Club at Crested Butte features an 18-hole, 7,208-yard, par-72 golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The eponymous club sits at 9,000 feet at the base of Mt. Crested Butte. Other amenities at the club include a fitness facility, aquatics center, two tennis courts, two Pickleball courts, Nordic ski trails, and multiple dining experiences with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. Club members can also participate in other outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and climbing.

Additionally, the club offers an exclusive ski-in/ski-out clubhouse located at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in winter months. Members have access to mountainside parking, complete ski valet services, locker and equipment storage facilities, lunch services, après ski, complimentary guest privileges and a full-service conference room.

“We are honored to be working with The Club at Crested Butte,” said David Stinson, vice president of operations at Troon. “The club, golf course and amenities are outstanding. Our Troon Privé team will focus on establishing consistency in service, while enhancing member programming and refining the member experience.”
