PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Three student-athletes from Rutgers women’s golf – redshirt senior Grace Lu, junior Lorena Rossettin and sophomore Joline Truong – were named 2025 Big Ten Golfers to Watch, announced by the league office on Tuesday. It marks the second consecutive Big Ten preseason laurels for Lu and Rossettin, while Truong appears for the first time.
A native of Edison, Lu has competed in 13 tournaments and 38 tournaments last season. Lu cared three top 10 finishes and two top five results, including a runner-up result at last fall’s Louisville’s Cardinal Cup.
Entering her third season, Rossettin produced a 75.18 scoring average across 32 rounds and 11 tournaments last season. The Genova, Italy, native tallied four top-20 finishes, two top-10 results and a tied-for-third result at last season’s Rutgers Invitational.
Truong earns preseason All-Big Ten recognition after she produced a 74.77 scoring average across 13 tournaments last season. This summer, Truong qualified for the CPKC Women’s Open – the first Scarlet Knight amateur to appear in an LPGA event since Leigha Devine participated in the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open. Truong opened this fall with a top-20 result at the Wolverine Invitational, finishing tied for 16th.
