STATE COLLEGE, PA – Senior Surapa Janthamunee led the Terps, finishing second place at the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Golf Course.
Janthamunee shot a 213 (72-69-72), which was 3 under par.
Sophomores Chanayu Chowiwattana and Anna Pillard tied for 11th. Anna Pillard shot a 220 (76-74-70), which was +4. Chowiwattana shot a 220 (75-71-74), also +4.
Senior Julia Garcia tied for 19th individually, shooting a 222 (76-75-71), which was +6. Freshman Noa Terroba Toro tied for 39th, earning a score of 228 (77-76-75). Emily McKee shot a score of 231 (78-78-75).
Maryland earned 4th place overall, with a score of 881 (300-290-291), which was +17.
The Terps will compete in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational from September 29-October 1 in Fayetteville, Ark.
