Cardinals Head to Blessings Collegiate Invitational


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Louisville men’s golf team returns to the Blessings Collegiate Invitational played at Blessing Golf Club (Par 72, 7,700 yards) on Monday. The tournament will take place from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 with 18 holes played each day.

Host school Arkansas welcomes eight additional teams to its home course this week including BYU, Kansas State, Kent State, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, UNCG, and Washington State.  

The men will tee off at 9 a.m. ET tomorrow morning for round one.

Cardinals’ Lineup:

  1. Cooper Claycomb
  2. Andrew Tan
  3. Warren Thomis
  4. Brady Smith
  5. Easton Johnson

 

The Format:

  • Men’s and women’s teams play the same course at the same time.
  • Each school will have all five members of its team playing the same holes together.
  • There will be 18 holes of competition each day with tee times starting at 7:45 am each day.
  • On Wednesday, a men’s team, a women’s team, an individual male, an individual female, a combined team and a combined individual best-ball will be crowned champions.
