FORT WORTH, Texas – The No. 6-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team heads to the Lone Star State this week to participate in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, presented by Charles Schwab. The two-day tournament takes place on Monday and Tuesday at the Colonial Country Club.

Tournament Format and Schedule
The Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, co-hosted by Charles Schwab and TCU, is a five-count-four, 54-hole stroke play tournament. Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday, then return to Colonial Country Club on Tuesday to conclude play.

Both days of the tournament begin at 8 a.m., with Round 1 featuring a shotgun start. Teams roll into Round 2 on Monday afternoon at the conclusion of the first 18 holes of play. Tee times for Tuesday’s finale will be based on the results of the first two rounds.

Course Information
The Colonial Country Club is 7,289 yards and plays as a par 70. Located in Fort Worth, Texas. Colonial Country Club has hosted an annual PGA Tour event since 1946, the longest-running non-major tour event to be held at the same venue. The club was started in 1936 and hosted the 1941 U.S. Open, the 1975 Tournament Players Championship and the 1991 U.S. Women’s Open.

The Field
A total of 15 teams will be at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational. All but two of those programs are ranked in the most recent GCAA Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. Teams competing against the No. 6 Commodores in Fort Worth will be No. 1 Auburn, No. 2 Arizona State, No. 5 Texas, No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 8 Virginia, No. 11 Alabama, No. 14 North Carolina, No. 16 Texas A&M, No. 18 Georgia Tech, No. 19 Texas Tech, No. 20 Pepperdine, No. 21 Georgia, Stanford (RV) and host TCU.
