Cats Move Up Two Positions After Round Two At The Williams Cup


Arizona Men’s Golf posts back to back 7-over par rounds at The Williams Cup and moves up two spots into eighth place after day two. William Wistrand’s round of 71 was the lowest score by the Wildcats and he is tied for 12th at 1-under par.

Zach Pollo bounced back in the second round shooting even par with 14 pars. Filip Jakubcik was even par through nine holes but dropped a few shots in his final nine holes to card a 76. 

Connor Hamm shot a 77 to bring his tournament total to 7-over par. Dillon Dean, in round two, shoots six shots better than he did in the first round. Matej Baca, competing as an individual, shoots 1-over par and is now tied for 26th alongside Pollo. 

After round two, the Cats have moved into eighth place and are 7-shots back of fifth place headed into the final round. They will tee off at 5:15am MST.
