STANFORD, Calif. — Having had two top-10 finishers in its last outing on Long Island, Stanford men’s golf heads back out east to conclude the fall slate at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, hosted by Georgia Tech, from October 24-26.

THE COURSE » The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate is hosted by its namesake with the par-72, 7,017 yard Lakeside Course serving as the backdrop to this season’s tournament.

Featuring a rolling terrain and engrained greens along the scenic woods that encompasses the track, the Lakeside Course – built in 1991 – was the original course at the The Golf Club of Georgia. A product of architect Arthur Hills, the Lakeside Course is challenging as it is stunning, serving as a strong layout to conclude the fall slate.

Headlined by No. 1 Virginia, this season’s event also includes No. 9 Utah, No. 14 Pepperdine, No. 15 UCLA, hosts No. 18 Georgia Tech, and No. 24 Charlotte. Stanford also joins the list of participants that includes Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Loyola Marymount, USC and Washington.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The 54-hole tournament will be played under the play five, keep four format over three days. Tee times for Friday and Saturday from holes 1&10 will be announced later with Sunday’s pairings based on the 36-hole score.

LIVE SCORING » Live scoring for the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate will be available on Scoreboard by Clippd with live coverage of the event on X and Instagram at @StanfordMGolf.

THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Stanford sends out a new starting five for this weekend’s tournament leading off with No. 136 Jay Leng, followed by Edan Cui and Nathan Wang. Making his season tournament debut, Ethan Gao hits the links at the No. 4 slot while Cooper Stearns makes his Cardinal tournament debut at No. 5. Dean Greyserman serves as Stanford’s individual entry for the tournament.

STANFORD AT THE GOLF CLUB OF GEORGIA COLLEGIATE » Stanford makes the trip to Alpharetta for the 14th time in the history of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, having placed 13th overall in last season’s outing. Stanford won the team title in the 2021 rendition of the tournament and has produced two medalists with Patrick Rodgers winning the tournament in 2012 and Maverick McNealy finishing in a four-way tie for the individual championship in 2015.
