Terps Wrap Up at Chevron Collegiate


HUMBLE, TX — The Maryland women’s golf team wrapped up at the Chevron Collegiate Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.

Sophomore Anna Pillard tied for 28th to lead the Terps. She earned a score of 217 (72-69-76), which was +1. She made 10 birdies. 

Senior Surapa Janthamunee finished with her score of 219 (73-77-69), which was +3 overall. She tied for 41st in the individual standings. She made 11 birdies in the 54-hole event.

Sophomore Chananyu Chowiwattana and freshman Noa Terroba Toro both earned scores of 229, which were +13. Chowiwattana went 79-75-75 and Terroba Toro went 74-76-79.

Freshman Emily McKee earned a score of 233 (79-77-77).

The Terrapins tied for 16th of 17 teams with a score of 892 (298-297-297), which was +28.

Next, Maryland will compete March 16-17 in the Briar’s Creek Invitational in Johns Island, S.C.
