No. 7 men’s golf posts solid first round at Cabo Collegiate

Two-time defending Cabo Collegiate champion Arizona State picked up where it left off with a solid first day on Sunday at Twin Dolphin Golf Club in NCAA men’s golf action.
The seventh-ranked Sun Devils shot 3-under 281 and are tied for second, just one shot behind Big 12 member Oklahoma State, as seven teams shot under par in the 15-team field.
Michael Mjaaseth is tied for sixth at 3-under 68, as he posted six birdies. ASU was 9-under on the par-4 holes and had 22 birdies, both best in the tournament through 18 holes.
