AIEA, Hawai’i –  Sun Devil Women’s Golf will be heading to the Aloha State to compete in the 40th edition of the Dr. Donnis Invitational from March 17-18.

Last competing at the event during the 2023-24 season, Coach Missy Farr-Kaye‘s team swept both the team and individual titles back in the 2024 edition. Then ranked No. 16 in the country, Sun Devil Women’s Golf earned a dominating victory at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Arizona State (-42/822) proved they were in a different class compared to the rest of the field. In addition to the team title, Ashley Menne (-14/202) also took home individual medalist honors.

Last time out
Sun Devil Women’s Golf finished 16th at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, posting a 38-over team total. Arizona State closed strong with a two-under par (282) performance on day three at Long Cove Club.

Freshman Fai Rubrong delivered a bogey-free, four-under 67 in the final round. The Thailand native went two-under on both nines to finish the tournament at 10-over (223).

The lineup
Arizona State boasts one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the country. Sophomore Isla McDonald-O’Brien claims the top spot. Senior Patience Rhodes earns the No. 2 spot, with Senior Beth Coulter following in the third position. Freshman Pimpisa Rubrong, who carded a four-under par performance in the third round at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, will play out of the No. 4 spot. Freshman Johanna Axelsen rounds out the lineup of the third-highest ranked team in the field. Freshman Kate Dillon will be competing in the field as an individual.

Tee times
Arizona State will begin the Dr. Donnis Invitational on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. MST, as the field will undergo a shotgun start. ASU will initially be spread out on holes 12-15 and are paired with host school Hawai’i and USC
