No. 23 Duke Faces Loaded Field at Valspar Collegiate Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men’s golf team returns to action March 23-24 at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational, hosted at Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida.

The 54-hole event will feature a shotgun start format, with 36 holes scheduled for Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. The par-71 course will play at 7,088 yards.

Duke, ranked No. 23 nationally, will compete in a loaded 15-team field that includes nine teams ranked inside the top 25, highlighted by No. 1 Auburn, No. 6 Texas, No. 7 Arkansas and No. 8 Arizona State.

The Blue Devils’ lineup will consist of junior Bryan Kim, seniors Ethan Evans, William Love and Daniel Choi, and sophomore Ollie Mukherjee.

Duke enters the event following a solid 2025-26 campaign that has included four top-five finishes in six tournaments, highlighted by a team victory at the Rod Myers Invitational to open the fall season.

Kim has led the Blue Devils throughout the year, posting a team-best 69.67 stroke average and two individual titles. The junior has recorded four top-five finishes and ranks 39 strokes under par across 18 rounds this season.

Evans has added depth to the lineup with a 71.33 scoring average and a runner-up finish at the Bryson Invitational, while Love carries a 71.83 average and most recently placed tied for second at The Hayt.

Choi has competed in all six events for Duke, registering a season-low round of 69, while Mukherjee rounds out the lineup after appearing in a pair of tournaments during the year.

The Blue Devils will look to build on last season’s success at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational, where Duke finished sixth at 19-under par and placed one individual inside the top five.
