STANFORD, Calif. — Coming off a strong start to the month down in Los Cabos, Mexico, the No. 22 Stanford men’s golf team is back in action this week, hosting the 57th installment of The Goodwin at the Stanford Golf Course from March 26-28. 

THE COURSE » The Goodwin is back for a second-consecutive season at the Stanford Golf Course after a two-year stint at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. This season, teams will compete on the par-70, 6,742-yard course that is nearing its 100th year of existence. One of nearly 30 college courses in the country, the Stanford Golf Course has been home to numerous prestigious tournaments and offers stunning views of the Bay Area. 

THE FIELD » No. 18 New Mexico headlines a 30 team field that also includes No. 19 Georgia Tech and Stanford at No. 22. No. 26 Utah follows alongside No. 27 BYU, No. 28 Long Beach State, No. 31 San Diego State, No. 34 UCLA, No. 36 TCU, No. 38 Washington, No. 41 Northwestern, No. 46 Colorado, No. 48 Cincinnati, No. 49 Arkansas-Little Rock to round out those in the Top-50 heading into the tournament. Also making the trek to The Farm are Boise State, Cal Poly, California, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Hawaii-Hilo, Grand Canyon, Howard, Nevada, Oregon, Pacific, SMU, Santa Clara, San Jose State, UC Davis and Washington State. 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The three day, 54-hole tournament will be played in the play five, keep four format with three-consecutive days of shotgun starts. Teams will tee off from holes 1 and 10 in two waves with the morning wave beginning at 7 a.m. followed by the afternoon slots at noon. 

LIVE SCORING » Live scoring for The Goodwin will be available on Scoreboard by Clippd with live coverage of the event on X and Instagram at @StanfordMGolf.

THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Stanford sends out four players from the five-man rotation it had in Cabo with No. 99 Jay Leng leading the charge in the No. 1 slot. No. 136-ranked Nathan Wang follows at No. 2 while standout freshman No. 163 Edan Cui is slotted at the No. 3 slot. Dean Greyserman, currently ranked No. 197, is slotted at No. 4 while Ethan Gao rounds out the Cardinal lineup at the No. 5 slot. TK Chantananuwat, Kush Arora and Cooper Stearns will also hit the course as part of Stanford’s trio of individual golfers for the tournament.
