This is Riegger’s second individual title this year after he won the Wyoming Desert Collegiate last month. The last Terp to win two individual titles in a season was Tom Harris in 2016.
Riegger went -10 overall with a score of 206 (66-69-71). He made 13 birdies with an eagle in the 54-hole event. His score of 206 tied his career-best 54-hole score.
Sophomore Will Gregware picked up his second top 10 finish of the season, as he finished tied for fourth. He earned a score of 210 (70-71-68), which was -6. Gregware made 12 birdies.
Freshman Griffin Barke tied for 51st with a score of 222 (74-73-75), which was +6. Freshman Caden Piselli shot a score of 225 (776-76-73), which was +9. Sophomore Benjamin Siriboury earned a score of 234 (74-79-81).
As a team, the Terrapins finished 5th of 17 teams with a score of 861 (284-289-288), which was -3 overall.
Next, the Terps will compete in the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial event April 13-14 in Charlottesville, Va.
