The 19-team field in Missouri includes the host Tigers along with Iowa State and Kansas in addition to the Huskers, while Central Arkansas, Central Michigan, Drake, Illinois State, Lamar, Missouri State, ORU, Saint Mary’s, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Tarleton State, UTRGV, UTSA, Wichita State and Xavier round out the field.

Following their trip to Missouri, the Huskers will be back in action at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill, N.C., Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12.

Junior Rudy Sautron has been a dynamic force for the Huskers this season, capturing back-to-back tournament titles at the Hal Williams Collegiate and The Johnnie-O at Sea Island in record-breaking fashion earlier this spring. Sautron fired a school-record 18-under-par 198 to share the championship at The Johnnie-O (March 9-10). It followed a school-record 195 (-15) at the Hal Williams Collegiate (Feb. 16-17). His effort in Semmes, Ala., included a school-record 62 (-8).

Sautron has tied the school record for titles in a single season, matching Jamie Rogers (1997-98) with three this year, including a then-school-record 200 (-13) at the Git-R-Done Invitational (Sept. 22-23). Sautron enters the Tiger Intercollegiate ranked No. 83 nationally.

The three-time Big Ten Golfer-of-the-Week owns a team-best 70.24 stroke average over 29 rounds this season, which represents a 1.46 stroke per round improvement over his school-record 71.70 stroke average a year ago.

Jackson Benge has been a reliable scorer for the Huskers throughout the season. The sophomore from Omaha carries a 72.17 stroke average over 29 rounds alongside Sautron in the Husker lineup. Benge was Nebraska’s top finisher with a tie for fifth at the Bell Bank “Pay It Forward” Collegiate in Arizona (March 23-24). It was his fifth top-25 finish of the season.

Fellow sophomore Brodie Cunningham (73.07) and freshman Caden Mickelson (72.25) also have earned lineup spots in every tournament for the Huskers, while redshirt junior Evan McDermott (73.12) has competed in the Husker lineup in eight of 10 events.
