Bears In Fifth Place After Day One



Liu Leads Cal at Silverado Showdown

NAPA – The California women’s golf team finished in fifth place after day one of the Chevron Silverado Showdown. The Bears shot a 5-over par 293 and currently sit one stroke back of fourth place Oregon.
 
Senior Adora Liu led the team, shooting an even par 72, finishing the day in a tie for 14th place. Freshman Michelle Woo and senior Anna Molloy shot a 1-over par 73, ending the day tied for 24th place, respectively. Juniors Constance Fouillet and Jasmine Kahler shot a 3-over par 75 in the first round, each finishing the day in a tie for 43rd place.
 
The Bears will begin play tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. PT.
