Bears In 10th Place After Day 2
NAPA – The California women’s golf team wrapped up its second day of the Silverado Showdown on Tuesday. After shooting a 5-over par 293 Monday, the Golden Bears struggled today, shooting 17-over as a team.
Freshman Michelle Woo finished the day in a tie for 38th place, the highest finisher among the Bears. Junior Jasmine Kahler shot a 3-over 75 in the second round, ending the day one back of Woo in a tie for 43rd place. After shooting an even par 72 yesterday, senior Adora Liu shot a 6-over 78 in the second round, tying with Kahler for a two-day total of 6-over par 150.
The Bears will look to bounce tomorrow in the final day of the 54-hole tournament.
