Sun Devil Women's Golf readies for Big 12 Championship

TEMPE – Sun Devil Women’s Golf is set for the Big 12 Championship in Dallas from April 23-25. 

Patience Rhodes will be returning to the lineup for Arizona State after missing all of the spring season due to an injury sustained during winter break. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye‘s team enters as the No. 2 seed in the league and is coming off a pair of second-place finishes to end the regular season. 

Championship on the line
The 2026 Big 12 Championship will be awarded this week, with 14 teams battling for the conference prize. Both the individual and team titles are on the line and decided by three stroke-play rounds. Live coverage of the final round will be available on ESPN+.

Last time out 
Arizona State wrapped up the 2026 PING/ASU Invitational on Wednesday with a second place team finish at 12-under par (852), capping a strong three-day showing on home turf.

Freshman Fai Rubrong headlined the Sun Devil effort, closing the tournament at seven-under par (209) to share second place with four other competitors. The Thailand native was also named the recipient of the 2026 Ann Votik Award, presented annually to the tournament’s top freshman finisher. Rubrong’s recognition marks back-to-back years an Arizona State player has claimed the honor, with sophomore Isla McDonald O’Brien earning the award at last year’s invitational.
