Men’s Golf Set For B1G Championships in Pacific Northwest – Penn State

NORTH PLAINS, Oregon – The Penn State men’s golf team travels to the Big Ten Championships this weekend at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon. This marks the first time the championships will be held in Oregon after taking place in Baltimore last year.
The Nittany Lions finished 16th last year led by then-senior Jake Griffin and Alex Creamean who each finished the week 8-over, 218, and in a tie for 32nd.
The format of the championship is a standard 54 holes and is scored by a play five count four with the top four scores from each round counting toward the team total. Each round will feature split tees with tee times beginning at 9:30 a.m. all three days.
All 18 Big Ten universities will be represented this week with UCLA looking to retain its 2025 Championship as the Ducks finished one shot clear of Illinois to claim the title.
