Neff A Candidate For National Coach-of-the-Year Honors

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has named Aimee Neff, the University of North Carolina’s Bobby Galloway head coach, to the watch list for the 2025-26 Division I Jackie Steinmann National Coach of the Year award.

The winner will be announced after the 2026 NCAA Championship, which will be played May 22-27 in Carlsbad, Calif.

In her fifth season as UNC’s head coach, Neff has led the Tar Heels to two team titles and a No. 12 national ranking this season.

Carolina is the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional May 11-13 at UNC Finley Golf Club.

The Tar Heels won the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., in October and the Chevron Collegiate in Humble, Texas, in March. They defeated Wake Forest, 3-2, to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championship last month.
