This Week in Wake Forest Women’s Athletics – Presented by Truist (May 4-10)

  • Women’s Golf: 

    • Wake Forest women’s golf has earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming NCAA Regionals beginning May 11.
    • The Demon Deacons boast a historical presence at the NCAA Regionals, finishing third or better in their regional appearances. 

  • Track & Field: 

    • Elizabeth Whaley added another podium finish in the women’s 1500 meters, clocking a time of 4:10.86 to earn a second-place finish at the Duke Twilight.
    • The Deacs open up their postseason slate at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will run from May 14-16 at the Cardinal Track Stadium in Louisville, Ky.

  • Field Hockey: 

    • The Wake Forest field hockey program has announced its 2026 schedule, a competitive slate featuring early-season tests, a challenging road swing and a full Atlantic Coast Conference lineup.
    • Fans will have 10 opportunities to catch the Demon Deacons at home in action during the regular season.
