This Week in Wake Forest Women’s Athletics – Presented by Truist (May 4-10)

  • Women’s Golf: 

    • The Demon Deacons will begin their journey to the 2026 NCAA Championship at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, going from May 11-13 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, hosted by Florida State. 
    • With sophomore Chloe Kovelesky going three-under-par to kick the week off, Wake Forest finished its first round of three tied for second.

  • Track & Field: 

    • The 2026 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships will run from May 14-16 at the Cardinal Track Stadium in Louisville, Ky.

  • Women’s Basketball: 

    • The Wake Forest women’s basketball program and head coach Megan Gebbia announced the addition of Jimmy Colloton to the coaching staff.
    • Colloton will serve as an assistant coach for the Demon Deacons, as his role will primarily center on working with the team’s perimeter players and coordinating the defense.
